tbh i really hate people calling nicki’s latest outfits and makeup ‘the natural look’. lmao what planet are you from, what the hell is natural about eyes rimmed in black and hair straightened to hell. i mean it’s only ‘toned down’ compared to her other looks because those were so blatantly eccentric, but the look she has now probably takes just as much effort and make-up, so shut the hell up with the ‘natural look’. holy shit. just because now she’s got /your/ more /ideal/ look happening…it’s ‘natural’?? lmao. moronic. it’s just another aesthetic, as lovely as the others, and shockingly enough it has nothing to do w/ you.

like idk man she doesn’t do this shit for you. her crazier outfits, her chiller outfits, it’s all her…some of it makes people uncomfortable, some of it doesn’t, stfu. ‘natural’ or ‘unnatural’…it’s all ‘unnatural’ because it’s all makeup and fun shit like that, stop pretending one aesthetic is better than the other and trying to label it ‘natural’ just based on what you find personally attractive.

“So why are [people of color] not filling the ranks of the Anarchist movement? What it is that prevents those people of color that have been feeling the brunt of police brutality, and have been living off the scraps of what capitalism leaves behind, why have they not joined the movement?

The answer is simple: because is not their movement. It can never be their movement while it is being created by and for white middle-class kids with a Jesus complex who think they can save the world (or the ones with Buddha complex who think they can get wet by talking about water). You cannot hustle the movement and you cannot hustle the people. Revolution is not a game in which you can pretend to listen to the voice of the people of color only when is convenient and shut them off when they start questioning your privilege.”

Omg, this is the most perfect thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Ever. Best post on Tumblr. I know I say that when something tops the last best post, but seriously, nothing will ever top this.

nychnymph:

don’t romanticize basic rights
it’s not attractive that a man is a feminist
it’s not sexy that a man finally realizes the prejudice against women and how stupidly oppressed women are
it’s common sense

If a videogame developer ever tells you they “didn’t show the females of that alien species because they would look awkward”, what they’re really saying is “we’re stupid and sexist and can’t conceive of a female character without a pretty face, boobs and ass, please kick us in the groin, we deserve pain”

The one thing I like about Michael Kors ads is that the models always look alive and they’re smiling, and just the vibe is pretty lively, and usually it just looks genuine. Like idk it’s sort of refreshing seeing women portrayed like that in fashion. Not to say it’s perfect by any means and there are lots of other factors to take in, but it’s nice to see ads with you know, women looking like they’re just chilling, enjoying the day, being normal, [seemingly] content, usually in natural/normal positions.

There’s one in particular that stood out to me but I can’t find it, but the woman was laughing/smiling, and was sitting with her arms just on her knees and she just looked like, you know, a human doing a human thing. Lmao. Which you don’t see often.

But basically I just like that his ads are always vibrant and full of life.

ever wanna reblog something and then notice the person’s url? like it’s so embarrassing you can’t even bring yourself to reblog from them.

instead of proclaiming that every girl in the world is sexy no matter what why don’t we start talking about how it doesn’t matter whether or not you’re sexy because sex appeal is irrelevant and is used as a tool for male dominance
